SWR Bass Amp
Steve W. Rabe is the brainchild of SWR amps, and his initials proudly stand for a company that knows what professionals want in a bass amp: clean full range, clarity, trueness and high fidelity. SWR has worked have worked hard to continue to bring their customers a top quality product for the best sound imaginable.
SWR has a unique look to its bass amps, with every attention paid to detail. The Working Pro Series from SWR features several combo units as well as two hardworking bass heads, one of which delivers an impressive 700 watts of power. The WorkingPro Bass 10 is the smallest of the combo's, but still deliver 100 watts at 4 ohms, amounting to what the people at SWR call a "mini-thunderstorm". This is the ideal combo for small gigs and practicing and comes with an affordable price tag. At the other end of the spectrum is The WorkingPro 2 x 10C which offers 260 watts of power at 8 ohms, and is housed in a great looking cabinet with two 10" speakers. The 2 x 10C is a great all around amp with a mid price range.
The Professional Series
The Professional Series is what SWR is all about. From the Marcus Miller Bass Preamp to the Redhead Bass Combo, this series is all about the pro's. SWR partnered up with Marcus Miller, who is said to be one of the most influential bassists of his time, to create their Marcus Miller Preamp and Marcus himself calls it "The missing link between your bass and a great sound!" The Redhead Combo is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and it's easy to see why it's stood the test of time. It is hailed as the most influential bass combo amplifier in history. It's loaded, with dual state of the art 10" speakers, and a high frequency horn. Newly redesigned after all this time, there is just more to love about the Redhead Combo.
The Lite Series
The Lite Series from SWR is the perfect combination of wattage and weight. Weighing in at just under 4 lbs. the headlite can be used as a standalone, or combined with the amplite for even more power. The amplite weighs in at 3 lbs, and was made to be used with the headlite, though it can also be used in pro audio or monitoring applications.
SWR bass amps have done what they set out to do. And that is to lead the way in the world of bass amps and be the standard to which all others compare themselves.
